Stanley was born in Pocatello, Idaho and grew up in Utah, New Jersey, and Texas. Despite her frequent moves, Stanley managed to stay close to her grandparents in Pocatello. She now has the opportunity to spend weekends with them, as she lives only three hours away. Stanley attended Brigham Young University at the Salt Lake center.
